Diana Hamilton:

I am talking about the "Independent News" section.

See http://www.archive.org/details/independent_news

Yesterday, Eminem's item was listed as #1 (because the numbers had not yet been updated to show that "911: the Road to Tyranny" had in fact surpassed Eminem).

Today, "911: the Road to Tyranny" is not even listed.

Furthermore, "Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State," another hugely popular download which evidently doesn't meet Internet Archive's criteria of political correctness, has been blackballed for several months now, as it is in fact now (again, in INDEPENDENT NEWS section) number 3, behind Eminem's vid.

YOU CAN PLAY YOUR GAMES, INTERNET ARCHIVE, BUT YOU'RE NOT PUTTING THEM PAST ANYONE.

Like I mentioned above, the two 9/11 items you cite are ones I see listed in the iraq_war collection instead of independent_news- perhaps because some "reshelving" of materials is happening at the site as new collection(s) are being prepared?

So I'm a little disoriented from what you're saying- what actual url are you looking at to show the "Martial Law" item as "number 3" on a list? From the analogous view of independent_news downloads, I don't see the one you mention, although it is quite visible in the iraq_war downloads (and Eminem's Mosh does not appear on that list). Thanks for any pointers to what you are seeing!

(Google cache proving I'm not imagining things) -- I can't produce proof that "Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State" was ever #3 on the list, because it never was. My beef is that it should have been.

My other beef is that followers of "911: the Road to Tyranny" reviews, for instance, might have been well served with a redirect or note saying the item had been moved, don't you think?

I find it highly interesting also that the "Iraq War Collection" is quite the obscure, well-hidden category.
Kudos, Quislings.

Perhaps the collection is still in preparation?

EDIT: In support of that hypothesis, today I see a forum appended to that collection, that wasn't there yesterday.

Don't mind me, Diana; I'm a dick, and perhaps not entirely uninfected with Quislingism. After all, I still live in America, and the criminals are still in charge.

Heh, sounds like you could end up having robust discussions with others in the new iraq_war forum as that develops. ;)
